NASHVILLE --- The application period for the 2026 Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Big Game quota hunts for deer, turkey, and the Cherokee party hunts for bears is June 10 through July 22. Mailed applications will not be accepted. Entries must be submitted before midnight (CDT) July 22.

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Board of Parole will conduct an administrative board meeting at 9 a.m. June 24, along with executive clemency hearings June 23-24 at its downtown Nashville central office, located at James Robertson Parkway in the Davy Crockett Tower. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 6.75 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on June 8, 2026.
