  • Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center Looks To Fill 80 Vacancies

    NASHVILLE – The Debra K. Johnson Rehabilitation Center (DJRC), the primary women’s prison in Tennessee, will be holding a hiring event on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the hope of filling their roughly 80 vacant positions. Available positions range from correctional officer to counselor to administrative support.

  • 46 Tennessee Highway Patrol Cadets Pinned

    NASHVILLE - During October, the Tennessee Department of Health recognizes both Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness with the Wear a Little Purple with Your Pink Campaign. This campaign takes the easily recognized pink ribbon for breast cancer and combines it with the purple ribbon for domestic violence. While nearly one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.

  • Lexington’s 251st Military Police Company Hurricane Ida relief

    LEXINGTON, Tenn. – In late August 2021, Hurricane Ida struck the Louisiana coastline causing significant wind damage and flooding in the surrounding area. Less than 24 hours later, over 320 Tennessee Guardsmen convoyed south to support relief operations in the impacted areas. Of the 320 Soldiers, 80 were military police from Lexington’s 251st Military Police Company.
