Triad Packaging Adds 25 Jobs to Bristol, Tenn. Headquarters

35 Jobs Retained, Projected Capital Investment of Nearly $1 Million

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty today joined with company officials to announce Triad Packaging is adding 25 new jobs to its Bristol, Tenn. headquarters while retaining 35 current positions. Triad Packaging will invest nearly $1 million to consolidate manufacturing operations into its Bristol facility.

“Existing industries are significant job creators for Tennessee and the driving force behind economic growth,” Haslam said. “I thank Triad Packaging and company officials for their decision to expand right here in the Volunteer State.”

“Governor Haslam’s Jobs4TN economic development plan has placed a renewed emphasis on existing industry, and we recognize the potential that companies like Triad Packaging have to create jobs for our citizens,” Hagerty said. “I congratulate Triad on its expansion in Bristol and thank them for investing in Tennessee.”

Founded in 1984, Triad is a manufacturer of high quality corrugated packaging materials whose services include creative design, fulfillment, distribution and inventory management. The company’s portfolio of offerings include point of purchase displays, retail merchandising, table top displays/shippers and industrial packaging as well as formed products such as foam and molded pulp. Triad serves more than 600 customers nationwide.

Triad Packaging worked with state and local officials on the project and financing was obtained from BB&T in Bristol to complete the expansion as planned.
