Complete to Compete: Complete College Tennessee Act of 2018
Through Tennessee Promise and Tennessee Reconnect, all Tennesseans now have access to college free of tuition and mandatory fees. To help ensure those students complete college and enter the workforce with aligned credentials, Gov. Haslam has introduced the Complete to Compete initiative, which includes the Complete College Tennessee Act of 2018 that restructures financial aid requirements for Promise and HOPE scholarships to keep students on track for on-time completion, and requires community colleges to implement structured, ready-made schedules for all incoming full-time students.
