NASHVILLE – Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam announced today the federal government will provide Public Assistance to Anderson County due to the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding, from June 18 to 24, 2011, and with a federal designation of DR-4005.

The designation for Public Assistance will allow government entities and certain private non-profits in Anderson County to apply for reimbursement of specific expenses related to disaster response and recovery.
