Real Estate Appraiser
If a licensee’s credential is not renewed before the first of the month prior to expiration, then they will fall off the Appraisal Subcommittee of Congress’s National Registry. This may cause FHA and other lending agencies to remove the appraiser from the panel for a month or longer.
The administrative staff of the Real Estate Appraiser Commission cannot reinstate an appraiser to the FHA panel.
Licensees may check their status on the National Registry via the Appraisal Subcommittee.
