Continuing Education Providers and Courses
Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser CommissionA provider must file an initial real estate appraiser course provider application with the Commission. Once registered with the Commission, providers must submit a separate application for each training course they wish to be considered for approval by the Commission.
Helpful Information
- CAP approval must be maintained throughout the licensing period.
- If the course already has CAP approval through the AQB, then the course materials do not need to be submitted with the application; be sure to attach the CAP approval letter alongside all other required documents to this application.
- If this course is AQB and/or IDECC approved, you must upload the approval letter(s) with this application.
- Asynchronous courses must have an active IDECC at the time of application, which must be maintained throughout the entire licensing period.
Application & Fees
Complete both applications online at core.tn.gov. There is no fee associated with the “Initial Real Estate Appraiser Education Course Provider” application. However, there is a fee for the “Initial Appraiser Training Course” application. The fee is $100 for courses fourteen (14) hours or less, and $200 for courses fifteen (15) hours or more.
