Continuing Education Providers and Courses

Tennessee Real Estate Appraiser Commission

A provider must file an initial real estate appraiser course provider application with the Commission.   Once registered with the Commission, providers must submit a separate application for each training course they wish to be considered for approval by the Commission.

Helpful Information

  • CAP approval must be maintained throughout the licensing period.
  • If the course already has CAP approval through the AQB, then the course materials do not need to be submitted with the application; be sure to attach the CAP approval letter alongside all other required documents to this application.
  • If this course is AQB and/or IDECC approved, you must upload the approval letter(s) with this application.
  • Asynchronous courses must have an active IDECC at the time of application, which must be maintained throughout the entire licensing period.

Application & Fees

Complete both applications online at core.tn.gov. There is no fee associated with the “Initial Real Estate Appraiser Education Course Provider” application.
