Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act  (LEOSA)

At this time, in cooperation with Governor Lee's efforts to combat the spread of Covid-19, the Department of Commerce and Insurance has directed that the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy and POST Commission facilities be closed after Monday, March 23, 2020.

As a result, please mail all LEOSA packets with your checks to:

Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Commission
3025 Lebanon Pike
Nashville, TN  37214-2217

PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON YOUR FORM.

While all facilities will be closed until further notice, POST personnel will be working remotely to provide all possible support during the closure.  Upon your LEOSA application being processed, you will be emailed your LEOSA card and certification.

Also, please undersand there will be some delay due to office personnel working remotely.

If you have any questions, please contact Dexter Mines at (615) 253-3601.
