Destiny Brown serves as a Senior Management Consultant for the Office of Customer Focused Government. In this role, Destiny leads the Governor’s Management Fellowship, a prestigious and highly competitive fellowship awarded to exceptional applicants who wish to serve and learn with the State of Tennessee’s top executive leaders.

Prior to becoming a Senior Management Consultant, Destiny spent time as a Policy and Research Coordinator and as a Governor’s Management Fellow herself. Before transitioning into the government field, Destiny worked in youth development and higher education.

Destiny has certificates in strategic management, facilitation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. She is also a 2022 Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence (TNCPE) Examiner. Destiny received a Bachelor of Science in social work and a minor in leadership from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in agricultural leadership education and communication from the University of Tennessee.
