Cody D’Alessandro joined Tennessee State Government in January 2025 as a Governor’s Veteran Fellow under a sponsorship with the Department of Health to serve as a project manager.  

Prior to his employment, Cody served as a Special Forces (Green Beret) Intelligence Sergeant in the 5th Special Forces Group for over a decade. Over those ten years, Cody served in multiple U.S. campaigns and in over ten different countries, primarily as a Senior Operations Manager and Lead Intelligence Systems and Networks Manager. These positions were held in controlled Embassy environments and austere rural outposts.

Cody holds a Bachelor of Arts in labor studies business management from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. He currently resides in East Nashville with his wife, Kaitlyn, and their two daughters.
