NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (TWRF) has once again compiled 10 outstanding prize packages for its annual Wildlife Conservation Raffle. Proceeds from the raffle fund important conservation projects such as public land acquisition and habitat management.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 11.50 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 7.50 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on July 14, 2025.

Drivers who feel the need for speed better hit the brakes or be ready to see blue lights in their rear-view mirror during Operation Southern Slow Down. From July 14 to July 20, this speed enforcement campaign returns in five southeastern states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
