The Tennessee Department of Agriculture Division of Forestry (TDF) has confirmed the presence of the emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis) in Robertson County. The emerald ash borer (EAB) is an invasive beetle that attacks and kills ash trees.

NASHVILLE--Commissioner of Financial Institutions Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 10.75 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 6.75 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on December 22, 2025.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 77,000 pounds of litter were removed from communities throughout Tennessee as part of the Tennessee Department of Transportation's (TDOT) 5th Annual No Trash November, a month-long initiative dedicated to keeping the state's roadways and waterways safe from the harmful effects of litter. This year's effort surpassed the statewide goal of 75,000 pounds—demonstrating the collective impact of communities, volunteers, and partners working together across Tennessee.
