NASHVILLE --- The 2026 Tennessee three-day archery antlered-only deer season will be held Aug. 28-30 for private lands only and select Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) in Deer Management Unit 1. Hunters will need to check the 2026-27 Tennessee Fishing, Hunting, and Trapping Guide for individual WMA regulations.

NASHVILLE--Commissioner of Financial Institutions Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 10.75 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 6.75 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on August 24, 2026.

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission (TFWC) unanimously approved the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s (TWRA) operational budget for 2027-28. The Commission also heard the Tennessee Black Bass Management Plan and passed rules on a new license structure and fees, including TWRA shooting ranges, at its August meeting.
