A Nashville man has been indicted following an investigation by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Crime Unit (ACU) into the illegal cutting of trees within Savage Gulf State Park.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation’s Division of Archaeology will host its annual conference on research in Tennessee archaeology on Saturday September 12, at the Tennessee State Library and Archives.

NASHVILLE--Commissioner of Financial Institutions Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 10.75 percent per annum. MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the first time in the facility’s history, ten inmates at the Mark Luttrell Transition Center (MLTC) have been inducted into a national honor society. The incarcerated men are working toward associate degrees in business through Southwest Tennessee Community College.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has lifted a water contact advisory for Cash Hollow Creek in Johnson City. The creek is a tributary to Knob Creek in Washington County.
