The Lodge at Natchez Trace sits on scenic Pin Oak Lake just a few miles off I-40 between Jackson, Tennessee and Nashville. There are 48,000 acres of public lands and lakes surrounding the Lodge; making it a true outdoor wilderness in West Tennessee. The Lodge offers lakeside hotel rooms, meeting space and dining all inside the wooded beauty of Natchez Trace State Park.

RESTAURANT

The Restaurant at Natchez Trace is a great place to reunite with friends and family over a meal. The restaurant serves Southern-style cuisine and seats 150 people. Friday night features a Seafood Buffet and Saturday we feature BBQ, Pork Spark Ribs, Chicken Leg Quarters, and Catfish. Cabins at Natchez Trace

Cabin Rental

Natchez Trace State Park offers 17 standard cabins nestled among tall trees on beautiful Cub Lake. These cabins have one bedroom with a queen bed and one bathroom.

The cabins feature a full kitchen with cooking utensils, linens, and towels. Each cabin has a grill and picnic table. They are air-conditioned and have electric fireplaces.

The public beach and day-use area are located just across an arm of the lake and are accessible via a rustic footbridge.

Natchez Trace has 10 deluxe two-bedroom, two-bath cabins situated on Pin Oak Lake.

Each cabin is two stories and can accommodate six people comfortably. The downstairs bedroom has two queen beds along with a bath and the upstairs bedroom has one queen bed with access to a bath.

These cabins feature a fully equipped kitchen with cookware and utensils to serve six people. There is a spacious living room with cable TV and a gas fireplace in the living room area.

The fireplace is available for use from November to March. On the balcony overlooking the lake, there is a gas grill with a table and chairs. Every two cabins share a boat dock. All towels and linens are provided.

CAMPING CABINS

The camping cabins are a unique lodging option at Natchez Trace. The cabins are located right by the water on a grassy slope overlooking Pin Oak Lake within the Pin Oak Campground.

Each cabin has air conditioning, two bunks that sleep four people total, a picnic table, BBQ grill, lantern holder, and water (in-season). All camper cabins are pet-friendly and are open year-round.

Campgrounds at Natchez Trace

Camping

Natchez Trace offers two areas for RV camping - the Pin Oak Campground and the Cub Lake Campgrounds. 

PIN OAK CAMPGROUND

The Pin Oak campground has 77 sites, 2 bathhouses, 50 amp electric, sewer and water hookups. The campground is located on the shore of Pin Oak Lake and can accommodate RVs up to 80 feet in length. The RV campground also offers a swimming beach, playground, picnic shelter, camping cabins and boat dock. While this campground is open year-round, some campsites close after December 1.  Campers should be aware that there is very limited, if any, cell service available in the Pin Oak campground area.

 

CUB LAKE CAMPGROUND #1

Cub Lake Campground #1 has 23 sites and 1 bathhouse. The sites feature 20 and 30-amp electric. All sites have water hookups. There is a strict RV size restriction of 25 feet and under. This campground is open seasonally and also has a dump station.

CUB LAKE CAMPGROUND #2

Cub Lake Campground #2 is the ideal setting for tent camping or small RV camping. There is a strict RV size restriction of 20 feet and under. The sites are primarily primitive. This campground offers 20 individual campsites, 3 group campsites, and 1 bathhouse. Water is available in the campground, but not at each campsite. This campground is open seasonally and also has a dump station.

BACKCOUNTRY CAMPING

Natchez Trace offers four backcountry campsites. Backcountry campsites are not typical walk-in campsites.

They require a minimum hike of 2.5 miles from the parking area. 

These sites accommodate up to 35 people. Pets on leashes are allowed, pack animals are not.

Reservations must be made in advance online or by calling the Natchez Trace State Park Visitor at (731) 968-3742. 

A permit through the Visitor Center is required in addition to site reservation. 

WRANGLER CAMPGROUND

Natchez Trace Wrangler Camp is located 2 miles south of I-40 on Highway 114. The Bucksnort Wrangler Camp features 62 campsites with electric and water, two bathhouses, and a dump station.  All electrical hookups are 50 amps.

Each site has a picnic table, ground grill, pedestal grill, lantern holder, water and posts to picket horses.  There are 250 miles of riding trails in the park and forest. Campsites should be reserved online or by calling the park.

Campers are requested to leave site clear of horse waste. Pets must be kept on a leash. Quiet time is at 10:00 PM. While this campground is open year-round, some campsites close after December 1.

 Nightly rates vary based on date and availability. Applicable taxes and fees applied at checkout. The $5 reservation fee per site is non-refundable.
