All County Health Departments in Tennessee provide the following Basic Health Services: Breast & Cervical Cancer Screenings, Breastfeeding Support, CHANT (Community Health Access and Navigation in Tennessee), Family Planning, Health Education, Immunizations, GIFTS (Growing Inside Free of Tobacco and Smoking), Newborn Screenings, Oral Health Promotion, Nutrition Counseling, Pregnancy Testing, STD/HIV Screening & Treatment, TennCare Presumptive Eligibility Program, Tobacco Cessation, Tuberculosis Control, Vital Records, Votor Registration, Well-Child Screenings, & WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

South Central Region is Offering Free Flu Shots Oct. 15, in Fight Flu ’24 Prevention Campaign
Columbia, Tenn. – The South Central Region of the Tennessee Department of Health will be providing free flu shots on Tues., Oct. 15, 2024, at each local health department, participating in the statewide 2024 Fight Flu prevention effort.
