NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Gov. Bill Lee delivered his State of the State address, showcasing Tennessee’s progress over the past year and outlining his legislative and budget priorities for the coming year.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Below are excerpts from Governor Bill Lee’s 2020 State of the State Address as prepared for delivery. Governor Lee will deliver his address at 6:00 p.m. CST today in the House Chamber in the Tennessee State Capitol.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Governor Bill Lee announced that he will deliver his second State of the State address to the General Assembly and fellow Tennesseans on Monday, February 3 at 6 p.m. CST. The joint session will be aired statewide and take place in the House Chamber in the Tennessee State Capitol.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Gov. Bill Lee announced that he will submit comprehensive pro-life legislation to the Tennessee General Assembly this year, including the prohibition of an abortion where a fetal heartbeat exists. This legislation would make Tennessee one of the most pro-life states in the country.
