Overview: This course walks property maintenance inspectors through typical challenges associated with the inspection of unsafe structures as well as the administration and enforcement of the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC). This course challenges these inspectors and their respective departments to begin working to identify building issues and safety concerns so that a workable solution can be achieved that will satisfy all parties involved, bring a more efficient enforcement approach for the property owner, reduce property damage, and ultimately re-establish the intended level of safety for all occupants.
