This course focuses on construction and inspection requirements, techniques and procedures, and the technical knowledge needed to assure the minimum requirements for residential plumbing are met. This course deals with the use of the code, basic plumbing terminology and how to perform various plumbing calculations.

- To provide the student with an understanding of the plumbing portions 2012 International Residential Code regarding the installation of all commercial plumbing equipment, water distribution, drainage and venting.
- The Student should come away with a firm understanding of: General Requirements, Fixtures, Water Heaters, Water Supply and Distribution, Sanitary Drainage, Vents, Traps, Interceptors, Separators, Storage Systems and Storm Drainage.
