Overview
This course concentrates on construction and inspection requirements, techniques and procedures, and the technical knowledge needed to assure that the minimum requirements for residential mechanical and gas installations are met. This course deals with combustion and venting, materials and fittings, duct and venting systems, fire protection requirements, and gas sizing, piping, and fittings. Students will also walk through the thoughts and actions of a mechanical and gas inspector including anything an inspector would need to know or be exposed to in order to be equipped to do the job of an inspector well.
