Tennessee Real Estate Commission

A Timeshare Salesperson means any person acting as a seller of any timeshare interval under contract with or control of a licensed real estate broker pursuant to a registered timeshare program. A timeshare salesperson must be affiliated with a licensed real estate firm that is affiliated with a registered timeshare development.

Examination Requirements

PSI administers the examination for the Tennessee Real Estate Commission. For scheduling and additional information, navigate to the section on the left titled “PSI & Exam Information”.

Present a completed Pre-License Verification Form at the testing center. This form can be found on the Forms and Downloads page.

Additional Supporting Documentation

  1. PSI Examination Application: Obtained upon completion at the testing center and must be signed by your Principal Broker.
    2. Completed Pre-License Verification Form
    3. Proof of errors and omissions insurance policy
    4. Complete the Eligibility for Entitlements Verification form. This form can be found on the Forms and Downloads page.
    5. Electronic Fingerprinting Receipt: Submit the receipt and the ORI number with your application (ORI#: TN920784Z).

Applicants residing in Tennessee must make an appointment through IdentoGO who will transmit your fingerprints to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for processing. To schedule your appointment, go to https://www.identogo.com/ or call IdentoGO at (855) 266-2937.

Out-of-State applicants who are unable to go to an IdentoGO location may use their non-resident card scan service. This program uses advanced scanning technology to convert a traditional fingerprint card into an electronic record, allowing processing as quickly as electronic fingerprinting.

Complete the “Initial Timeshare Salesperson Application” online at core.tn.gov. The fee for the application is $91.
