
Jeff Elliott
Executive Director, TN Fire Service & Codes Academy
Jeff Elliott was appointed to the role of Executive Director of the Tennessee Fire Service and Codes Enforcement Academy (TFACA) in October 2019. Prior to this appointment, he served as TFACA’s Fire Program Director from 2012 to 2019.
Mr. Elliott has a distinguished fire service career. He worked for the City of Franklin as a career firefighter for over twenty-five years progressing from Volunteer Firefighter to Career Firefighter, Driver/Operator, Lieutenant, Captain and transitioning to Training Officer/Safety Officer. Additionally, he worked as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist within the Risk Management Division with the City of Franklin. While serving in the rank of Captain, he served as a member of the Nashville Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Training and Exercise Committee. In this role, he worked to ensure interoperability among personnel and equipment to maximize homeland security funds and attempt to ensure resources are not duplicated.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Elliott is a graduate of Franklin High School. He received an Associate of Applied Science, Volunteer State Community College with a Technical Certificate in Fire Science. Additionally, he has received numerous certifications from the Tennessee Firefighting Personnel Standards and Education Commission.
