Historic Rural Life Festival

2020 Festival Dates - Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8 from 9 am to noon.  Admission is $3 for guests aged 2 and older. Teachers, bus drivers, and aides receive free admission. Free parking on site. Cash or check only.  

Pickin’ on the Porch Summer Concert

2020 Dates to be Announced. Free admission and free parking on site. Bring a lawn chair and tap your feet to live bluegrass/country music on the lawn of the Tennessee Agricultural Museum. Donations are welcome.   

Farm Fun Days

2020 Festival Dates – Saturday, July 11 and Saturday, July 18 from 9 am to 1 pm. Free admission and free parking on site. Bring your friends and family to enjoy traditional crafts, farm animals, and wagon rides. The Metro Mounted Police will host training demonstrations and additional exhibits are featured each day. No pets please.   

Farm to Table Dinner

This annual fundraising dinner is held at the museum and celebrates Tennessee’s rich rural heritage with local food, live music, and a benefit auction.  Reservations are required. Tickets are $50 and proceeds support the museum. Tickets can be purchased in person, via mail, or online. Please call the museum at 615-837-5197 for info.  

Christmas Open House

2020 - Thursday, December 3, from 10 am to 2 pm.  Free admission and free parking on site. Join in the holiday spirit with our annual Christmas Open House. See the Tennessee Agricultural Museum in holiday attire and enjoy ham biscuits, holiday music, spiced cider, and see crafts for purchase.
