Preventing an Overdose Death

Naloxone (often known by the brand name NarcanTM) is a proven tool in the battle against drug misuse and overdose death.  It is easy to administer, but state law requires a simple training and certification process.

The following anti-drug coalitions across the state have access to Naloxone for possible distribution.  Locate the coalition closest to you and contact them for more information.

If you’re worried about your own or a loved one’s drug use, it’s helpful to know the warning signs and more importantly, that help is available and treatment works.

Prescription drug take-back boxes provide a place where unused prescription drugs can be safely disposed.
