NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) announces that over $17.5 million in life insurance benefits have been located for Tennesseans since Jan. 1 through the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ (NAIC) Life Insurance Policy Locator Service.

Chattanooga, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the indictment and arrest of Cade Coulter Williamson, president of Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, in Soddy Daisy. Revenue special agents arrested Williamson, 41, at his business. Bond was set at $10,000. On Monday, the Hamilton County Grand Jury indicted Williamson on 14 Class E felony counts of tax evasion.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 100 personnel of the Tennessee National Guard’s 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion, headquartered in Tullahoma, are scheduled to return from their overseas deployment to Kosovo on July 17 at approximately 1:15 pm CST to the Volunteer Training Site-Smyrna. The 1-230th AHB has been at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo for the last nine months as part of Kosovo Force – KFOR, a NATO led mission that builds peace and maintains stability in the area.
