NASHVILLE--Commissioner of Financial Institutions Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 10.75 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 6.75 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on April 13, 2026.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s (TWRA) Wildlife and Forestry Division will present recommendations for the 2026-27 hunting and trapping seasons to the Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission for review and approval at its April 16-17 (Thursday-Friday) meeting at the UT Institute of Agriculture Plant Biotechnology Building in Knoxville.
