    The Tennessee Departments of Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Safety & Homeland Security, and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) are partnering on a public health and safety campaign, “DON’T LET ALCOHOL RUIN THE HOLIDAYS,” to educate Tennesseans about the dangers of excessive alcohol use and promote safe alcohol practices.

  • TDMHSAS Announces Grants for Four New Crisis Stabilization Units and Walk-In Centers

  • TDMHSAS Celebrates Successful Launch of 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

    TDMHSAS is releasing new data showing the response to the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the state. There were about 21,000 Tennessee calls to 988 in the last six months of 2022. That’s an increase of about 500 calls per month over the previous 10-digit National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number.
