Tennessee’s Opioid Abatement Council released its second Announcement of Funding for Community Grants. This offering will add $20 million dollars for approved opioid remediation activities to the tens of millions of dollars that are already flowing to provide services across the state.

Tennessee’s Opioid Abatement Council is releasing its first ever community grants totaling $80,936,057. Programs funded through the grants will support work in response to opioid addiction throughout Tennessee for up to three years.

Tennessee’s Opioid Abatement Council is opening its community grant application portal to receive proposals for its first round of funding. The portal will be open for groups to submit proposals through October 9, 2023.
