Revenue special agents arrested Head, age 65, Thursday. His bond was set at $85,000.

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security will permanently close the Savannah Driver Services Center, located at 60 Brazelton Street, unit #10 in Savannah, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. A newly constructed Driver Services Center located at 1016 Pickwick Street in Savannah will open on Monday, March 6, 2023.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 11.75 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 7.75 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on February 21, 2023.

Nashville, TN – Today, the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Grow Your Own Center announced over $5 million in subgrant funding has been awarded to five educator preparation providers (EPPs) to expand the Tennessee Teacher Apprenticeship programs to increase access and remove barriers to the educator profession, in alignment with the state’s Grow Your Own initiative.
