NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) will begin accepting applications for the fall 2024 Citizens’ Correctional Academy on Monday, July 29. The six-week program is designed to give Tennesseans an in-depth look at the state’s largest law enforcement agency.

(July 23, 2024) – Tennessee tourism generated a record $30.6 billion in direct visitor spending and saw 144 million visitors to the state in 2023, according to newly released data from Tourism Economics and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development. Tennessee’s direct visitor spending increased 6.2% in 2023. This follows two consecutive years of double-digit growth, driving Tennessee to a 125% recovery over 2019 pre-pandemic levels.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 12.50 percent per annum.
