As Director of Communications and a member of Governor Lee’s cabinet, Casey Sellers oversees external communications for the Office of the Governor and the Lee administration. Sellers serves as an adviser to the Governor on media relations and is responsible for developing the communications strategy to support the administration’s policy agenda and state operations. She previously served as Press Secretary for the Governor.

Prior to joining Governor Lee’s administration in February 2021, she served as spokeswoman for several members of the United States Congress, including U.S. Senator Bob Corker and U.S. Representative David Kustoff, and led communications for a U.S. Senate general election campaign.

Sellers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. A native of Memphis, she and her husband, Douglas, live in Nashville and are members of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
