Schedule a Tour

Tours of the Tennessee Residence and grounds are offered free of charge on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Times are subject to availability. Requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the requested tour. The First Lady’s Office will contact you to confirm your reservation.

Students are invited to visit the Tennessee Residence to learn about the history of the home and tour the grounds, including the Kitchen and Cutting Garden. We offer special programs for students such as hands-on activities in the garden. To request a field trip, complete this form and click submit. The First Lady’s Office will contact you to confirm your reservation.


Tour FAQ

We ask that a final list of tour participants be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to your tour. The name of each visitor will be checked by security upon arrival, so please make sure that your list is accurate.

Please arrive no more than 5-10 minutes prior to your tour time.

Parking is available on site at the Tennessee Residence unless otherwise indicated by Residence staff. The Residence is located at 882 South Curtiswood Lane, Nashville, TN, 37204. When you arrive at the entrance gate, security will check the name of each guest and give direction for parking.

Yes, the tour is ADA Accessible.

Cameras are allowed on the tour; however, we please ask that camera flashes be turned off when taking photographs due to the sensitivity of the artwork.
