Once the declaration is made, all Tennessee small businesses and nonprofit organizations that have suffered economic injury as a result of COVID-19 will be eligible to apply for disaster loan assistance of up to $2 million per applicant.

Bill Lee and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe announced today that Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC (AES) will expand its operations in McEwen. AES will invest approximately $9.7 million and create 80 jobs in Humphreys and Hickman counties. The company is modernizing and expanding its Tennessee operations, which is situated on 1,300-acre site in Hickman and Humphreys counties, where the company operates a full lab and test range.

Governor Lee, Commissioner Rolfe Announce Spirit Airlines to Relocate Operations Control Center to Williamson County

Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Spirit Airlines officials announced today that the company will relocate its Operations Control Center (OCC) from Miramar, Fla., to Williamson County, Tenn. The project represents an investment of $11.3 million and will bring 345 jobs to Tennessee over the next five years. Spirit will relocate more than 240 positions to Tennessee and create 100 additional jobs in Williamson County.
