EE211-00 Residential Electrical Inspection of Pools and Ponds (3)

Overview

This three hour course focuses on the requirements, techniques and procedures, and the technical knowledge needed for the understanding and inspection of residential pool and pond applications, as well as instruction on the requirements of the International Residential Code and National Electric Code (NEC). This course will also explain the dangers associated with the unanticipated flow of electricity into bodies of water associated with residential occupancies. Education on this relatively unfamiliar potential hazard is important to contractors, electrical inspectors, and even fire officials who are responding to emergencies involving the possibility of electrical shock in residential pools and ponds.
