The renewal application and fee must be submitted prior to the expiration date listed on your registration. The grace period is sixty (60) days. After sixty (60) days, a reinstatement application must be submitted.

Scrap Metal Dealers:

This is completed through your CORE account. Once signed in, select the "Update License or Permit" tile within the Quick Actions menu. A new screen will appear where you can select what information needs to be updated. Click "Select" and proceed with the online instructions. There is no fee associated with this request.

Scrap Metal Businesses: 

Email the change(s) to scrap.metals@tn.gov. Include any applicable documentation such as updated business filing paperwork.
