Tennessee Private Probation Services CouncilFailure to renew within sixty (60) days of the scheduled renewal date shall be grounds for denial of renewal registration.
Private Probation Services Company
A private entity may renew by submitting a $100 renewal fee up to thirty (30) days before the registration expires. If the entity renews within sixty (60) days after the scheduled renewal date, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed.

1. Each staff member must attend eight (8) hours of Continuing Education, with two (2) hours being focused on ethics. Evidence of this is to be attached to the application.
2. Submit proof of the required $1,000,000 insurance policy and a $25,000 performance bond, as required by applicable statutes and rules.

This is completed through your CORE account. Once signed in, select the "Update License or Permit" tile within the Quick Actions menu. A new screen will appear where you can select what information needs to be updated. Click "Select" and proceed with the online instructions.
The Quarterly Provider Fee Report is due:
- May 20 for the first quarter ending March 31.
- August 20 for the second quarter ending June 30.
- November 20 for the third quarter ending September 30.
- February 20 for the last quarter ending December 31.
The Council assesses a seventy-five-cent ($0.75) fee for every person reported on the company case load for that respective quarter. This report must match the information provided to the clerk of the General Sessions and criminal court in which you provide services.
