Manufacturer/Distributor Representative

A Manufacturer/Distributor Representative is an individual employed by the manufacturer/ or distributor for the purpose of making or promoting the sale of motor vehicles or for supervising, servicing, instructing, procuring, contracting, or contacting, for any reason, motor vehicle dealers or prospective motor vehicle dealers or their employees.

Licensing Requirements

1. A licensed representative may only represent the entity for which they are licensed.
2. If there are any prior criminal convictions and/or felonies, they must be reported within the application, and all final judgments must be attached.

Application & Fees

Complete the “Initial Manufacturer / Distributor Representative Application” online at core.tn.gov. The fee for an initial application is $600.
