Preneed Seller

This registration allows a funeral establishment or other entity to sell preneed funeral merchandise and services. Effective January 1, 2008, no funeral establishment or other individual, firm partnership, company, corporation, or association may offer or sell preneed funeral contracts without first registering with the Commissioner as a Preneed Seller. A funeral establishment or other individual, firm, partnership, company, corporation, or association with more than one (1) physical location in this state shall obtain a separate registration for each physical location where it acts as a Preneed Seller.

1. Approved Funeral Preneed Contract*

2. If money funded, a trust instrument with a qualified trustee.

Application & Fees

Complete the “Initial Preneed Seller Registration” application online at core.tn.gov.  The fee for the initial application is $1,000.
 

Renewal Information

Renewals are done online through your CORE account. The fee is $750.
