The grace period for all license types is sixty (60) days. When renewing during the grace period, licensees are charged a late fee of $50.

How to Renew an Active License

1. Renewal Application (CORE)

2. Attest to the completion of six (6) hours of Continuing Education (“CE”) within two (2) years before renewal. Continuing Education is verified by a random audit system. Therefore, you should maintain your evidence of CE for at least two renewal cycles, or 4 years, in the event of an audit.

3. Fees:

- Affiliate Auctioneer, $175
- Principal Auctioneer, $225
 

How to Renew an Expired License (More Than 60 Days)

1. Reapply Application (CORE)

2. Continuing Education

If a license has expired for more than two (2) months, but less than six (6) months, reapply for licensure and attest to the completion of six (6) hours of Continuing Education (“CE”) within two (2) years before reapplication.

If delinquent in the renewal of a license for one (1) year or more, reapply for licensure and satisfy all requirements for obtaining the license, including retesting through PSI for either the Affiliate Auctioneer Exam or the Principal Auctioneer Exam.

3. Fees

- Affiliate Auctioneer, $175 (Plus Late Fees Below)
- Principal Auctioneer, $225 (Plus Late Fees Below)

If a license has expired for more than two (2) months, but less than six (6) months, reapply for licensure and pay a penalty of $150.

If a license has expired for more than six (6) months, reapply for licensure and pay a penalty of $200.

3. Submit a Surety Bond for $50,000 issued by a licensed bonding company.

How to Renew an Expired License (More Than 60 Days)

2. Submit proof of Garage Keepers Legal Liability for not less than $500,000.

3. Submit a Surety Bond for $50,000 issued by a licensed bonding company.

4. Fee, $175 - $50 Late Fee Included

A license must be active and in good standing to retire.

Fill out the Retirement form. Mail the completed application and fee to the Commission.

The fee for the application is $150.
