The next quarterly meeting of the Tennessee Arts Commission will be from 8:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. CT / 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. ET, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Attention—New Meeting Location: Tennessee Tower, 3rd Floor, Conference Room D, Room 108 located at 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave, Nashville, TN 37243. Photo ID is required for entry through security. The agenda for the Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Quarterly Commission Meeting includes reports related to the audit committee, FY26 budget, grants, and strategic plan goals.
The Tennessee Open Meetings Act passed by the General Assembly in 1974 requires that meetings of state, city and county government bodies be open to the public and that any such governmental body give adequate public notice of such meeting. To make a public comment in-person at the meeting or to submit a written public comment to be read at the meeting, you must register as a “speaker” by submitting a written notification by email through jason.p.goldston@tn.gov at least three (3) business days in advance of the meeting of the Tennessee Arts Commission. The written notification must include your name, the agenda item(s) upon which you wish to comment, whether you are in favor of or opposed to the agenda item(s), a brief summary of the issue to be addressed, and whether you will be appearing in person or would like your comment to be read at the meeting. You are only allowed to make public comment germane to the agenda items. Up to five registered speakers will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis based on the time of registration and are limited to no more than two minutes each.

The Tennessee Arts Commission reserves the right to amend the published agenda within ten business days prior to the meeting. If any member of the public wanting to address the Commission must give notice that they want to speak on the added agenda topics no less than twenty-four hours prior to the Commission’s meeting. All reasonable attempts will be made by the Tennessee Arts Commission to include all agenda items up to one business day prior to the meeting.
