- Unless otherwise listed, dove hunting is open with statewide seasons and bag limits
Capacity may be limited on some fields depending on hunter turnout.
Region 2 Wildlife Management Areas
Crops planted: 100 acres total: 35 millet bush hogged; 7 corn; 25 wheat top sown
Hunt Dates: Open with statewide seasons. (Season opens at 12:00 noon on September 1). TWRA will assist with parking and field access on opening day, starting at 9:00 am CST.

Hunt Dates: Sept. 1, opens at noon - Sept. 28, 2026 Field is only open to first segment of dove season due to small game hunting being closed one (1) day prior and during all big game quota hunts on Cheatham WMA.
Directions: From Ashland City take Hwy 49 West to left on Hwy 250 (Petway Rd) to a left on Griffintown Rd to a left on Headquarters Rd onto the WMA to a right on Sulfur Creek Rd II.

Hunt Dates: Same as statewide seasons (Season opens at 12:00 noon on September 1). During late duck season the area is closed to all activities on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
Directions: From Ashland city take Highway 49 south to a sharp right turn onto Jamestown rd. Bare left onto WMA. Field and parking are 1/2 mile off blacktop onto WMA.

Hunt Dates: Closed Sept 1 Sept 5, 2026 kids hunt all day, Sept 7 and every Saturday of first segment, 12th,
19th, 26st open to all ages. Juveniles register with Officer Hayden Cook. Information will be posted on the website. There are a limited number of spots for the morning hunt on Sept 5th.
Directions: From 840, drive south on US31A , 3.6 miles. Field is on the left.

Directions: From Clarksville take Dover Rd west to left onto Dotsonville Rd to a left on Dunbar Rd to a left onto Chester Harris Rd left to your destination on the right at 4838 Chester Harris Rd .

Hunt Dates: Sept 1st, and each Saturday and Sunday thereafter, and Labor Day during the first and second segment of statewide season. Shooting from staked positions only. On Sept 1st, staked positions will be assigned by a drawing held on site at 10 AM and hunters must check out at the conclusion of their hunt. Successful applicants must be at their staked position at the start of shooting hours.
Directions: In LaVergne, TN, from Murfreesboro Pike turn onto Fergus Road. After 0.9 miles, turn right onto Jones Mill Road. After 0.8 miles, turn right onto the gravel road where the Percy Priest WMA sign is located.

Hunt Dates: Sept 1 @ 12:00 noon. Same as the statewide season. No one may enter
field or reserve hunting spots till 11:00 A.M. opening day.

Hunt Dates: September 5th Youth 6-16 yrs old only must be accompanied by a non-hunting adult. Hunt starts 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset. Sept 6th thru remainder of season open to all ages
Directions: From Hwy 64 take Mingo Road 3 miles west Field is on the left.

Hunt Dates: Open Sept 1 (noon) with statewide season. No hunters on fields until 11am opening day (Sept 1). No parking at the boat ramp parking lot on Sept 1st. There are two parking areas, one on each field.
Directions: Take highway to Fred White Rd. Drive north 1.6 miles. The fields are on the right and left just before the boat ramp.
