Hunt Dates:  Open with statewide seasons. (Season opens at 12:00 noon on September 1).  TWRA will assist with parking and field access on opening day, starting at 9:00 am CST.

Directions: From Ashland city take Highway 12 to left onto Petway RD.  Follow Petway rd to a left on Griffentown rd.  Follow Griffentown Rd to a right onto Cheatham WMA at Reed Rd.  The field and parking are 1/2 mile off blacktop.

Directions:  From Clarksville take Dover Rd west to a left onto Dotsonville Rd.  Turn Left at the 3 way stop onto Dunbar Rd.  Take the first left onto Chester Harris Rd.  The field is off the blacktop at 4840 Chester Harris Rd about 1/2 mile.

Hunt Dates:  Sept. 1, and each Saturday and Sunday thereafter, and Labor Day during the first and second segments of the statewide season. Shooting from staked positions only. On Sept. 1, 2024, staked positions will be assigned by a drawing held on-site at 10 a.m. and hunters must check out at the conclusion of their hunt. Successful applicants must be at their staked position at the start of shooting hours.

Hunt Dates:  Sept 1 @ 12:00 noon.  Same as the statewide season.  No one may enter field or reserve hunting spots untill 11:00 a.m. opening day. This field has corn grown then harvested followed by top sown wheat.  Soybean and millet hay cut and removed. Wheat grown since last fall bushogged and burned. Strips of sunflower some bush hogged and some standing.

All dove hunting from staked positions only. Dove field opens for general public on Monday following youth hunt (September 8) and every Wednesday and Friday-Saturday during first segment only. Dove closed during 2nd and 3rd segments.

Directions: From Bigbyville Road turn onto Buck Matthew’s Road, drive approximately 1 mile. Field will be at grain bins on the left. From Hopewell Road, turn onto Buck Matthews rd, drive approximately 1 mile field will be at grain bins on right.
