The agenda includes approval of the previous meeting minutes and reports from partner agencies, organizations, and ex-officio members. The commission will also discuss long range plans and leadership.

The meeting is open to the public to attend.

A portion of the meeting will be reserved for public comment, which may be submitted either orally or in writing regarding business before the commission.

The Tennessee General Assembly created the commission in 1939 to assist in developing local soil conservation districts. Today the commission advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on matters of soil conservation and water quality improvement.
