Department of Safety & Homeland Security to Temporarily Close Two Driver Services Centers for Renovations

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced that two Driver Services Centers in middle Tennessee would soon be temporarily closed for renovations. One center is located in downtown Nashville at the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower located at 312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue; the other is located in Columbia at 1701 Hampshire Pike.

“We are focused on reducing customer wait times and creating more customer-friendly driver service centers. These are busy centers, and we believe these renovations are necessary to better handle the volume of customers on a daily basis. Ultimately, the upgrades to the equipment and the facilities will allow us to better serve our customers,” Commissioner Bill Gibbons said.

The downtown Nashville location at the William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower (312 Rosa L. Parks Avenue) will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3 and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 3.

The Columbia location (1701 Hampshire Pike) in Maury County will close at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 and will reopen on at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7.
