Greenville Driver License Center Relocating

Nashville, Tennessee — The Tennessee Department of Safety (TDOS) will be closing its Driver License Station in Greeneville, Tennessee, located at 1209 Hal Henard Road, and moving across the street to its new home.  The new facility will be located at 1210 Hal Henard Road, Greeneville, Tennessee.

The center, which is currently located in a modular building, will be closed on Friday, August 1, 2008.  The move gives TDOS the opportunity to move into a larger space that will allow us to serve our customers more efficiently.

The new center will open for business on Tuesday, August 5, 2008.   Hours of business will continue to be Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Customers may also utilize Driver License Centers in Johnson City, located at 4717 Lake Park Drive, serving customers Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and in Morristown at 1901 State Street, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Directions:

Johnson City Driver License Center:

 

  • From Interstate 81, take Exit 57a and merge on Interstate 26 East.
  • Go approximately 8 miles and take TN-354 S, Exit 17, towards Jonesborough.
  • Turn right onto Lake Park Drive.

Morristown Driver License Center:

 

  • From Interstate 81, take Exit 8 and turn onto US 25 E north.
  • Go approximately 8.9 miles to the third red light and turn left onto Cherokee Park Road.
  • Turn left onto Buffalo Trail.
  • Turn right on State Street.
  • The driver license station is on the right at the bottom of the hill.
