A Marion County woman is charged with TennCare fraud in a case involving prescription drugs.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and Direct Coil officials announced today that the company will establish its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Fayetteville. The company will invest $14.4 million and create 75 jobs in Lincoln County over the next five years.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee released the following statement: “Maria began exhibiting mild symptoms of COVID-19 and it was confirmed this afternoon that she has tested positive. I am feeling well with no symptoms and have tested negative for COVID-19. NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Department of Health will provide data on COVID-19 vaccines administered in the state via a new dashboard to be provided online at www.tn.gov/health/cedep/ncov/covid-19-vaccine-information.html. This dashboard will launch Dec. 18 and will be updated each Tuesday and Friday.

Cookeville, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the indictment and arrest of Frederick Jason Duncan for tax evasion. Revenue special agents arrested Duncan, age 38.
