On February 17, 2017, Trooper Carll Duryea II of the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s (THP) Interdiction Plus Team (IPT) of the Knoxville District stopped a vehicle in Sevier County for a traffic violation on I-40 East.

On Tuesday February 8, 2017, Trooper Rhett Campbell of the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) stopped a 2017 Chevy Tahoe on Interstate 840.

On January 31, Trooper Donnie Clark of the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s (THP) Interdiction Plus Chattanooga District stopped a vehicle on I-24 in Coffee County for a traffic violation.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is accepting applications for the 2017 Spring Citizens’ Trooper Academy. Classes in Nashville start March 21st at The Tennessee Highway Patrol Training Center. Sessions are Tuesday nights and will run from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. weekly.
