The Tennessee Bureau of Workers' Compensation is accepting nominations year-round for the Sue Ann Head Award for Excellence in Workers' Compensation.

The Tennessee State Museum has announced the recipients of grants from its Capital Maintenance and Improvements Grant Program for Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief. The funding came from the original $5 million the Tennessee General Assembly made available in the 2024-2025 Appropriations Act, “for the sole purpose of providing grants to museums with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or affiliated with a governmental entity for capital maintenance and improvements.”

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Memphis/Summer Avenue Driver Services and Reinstatement Center, 5266 Summer Ave., Suite 75, which closed for a planned remodel on Oct. 16, will reopen to the public on Monday, Feb. 10.
