NASHVILLE, Tenn. – More than 100 personnel of the Tennessee National Guard’s 1-230th Assault Helicopter Battalion, headquartered in Tullahoma, are scheduled to return from their overseas deployment to Kosovo on July 17 at approximately 1:15 pm CST to the Volunteer Training Site-Smyrna. The 1-230th AHB has been at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo for the last nine months as part of Kosovo Force – KFOR, a NATO led mission that builds peace and maintains stability in the area.
