NASHVILLE, Tennessee – The Tennessee Air National Guard’s 118th Wing is deeply saddened by the loss of three of our Airmen on Sept. 8, 2020, in an civilian aircraft accident in McMinnville.
On Sunday, August 30, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) troopers and THP’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) located two stolen commercial box trailers loaded with approximately $450,000 worth of Meals Ready to Eat (MRE) that were originally bound for hurricane relief efforts in Louisiana.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Soldiers and Airmen with the Tennessee National Guard, who are working diligently alongside Tennessee’s Department of Health, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, and various other state and local agencies have successfully administered over 300,000 COVID-19 tests since March.
The Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s Division of Forestry (TDF) is offering a variety of tree and shrub seedlings for reforestation and conservation projects. The East Tennessee Nursery in Delano, Tenn. produces forest seedlings and is accepting orders until April 30, 2021.
The Tennessee Recovery Navigators are celebrating two successful years of connecting people who come into emergency rooms with treatment for substance use disorder. Navigators are people with lived experience of addiction and at least two years in recovery who are able to use their history to relate to the patients they meet.
