The Tennessee Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial was created to plan, encourage, develop, and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and recognize Tennessee's integral role in that event and the impact of its people on the nation's past, present, and future. This virtual public meeting will include members of the governing body who are participating by electronic means of communication.

The Douglas Henry State Museum Commission quarterly meeting will be held on Friday, July 11 2025 at 10 a.m. EASTERN TIME at Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee. Agenda to be posted here prior to meeting. DHSMC Quarterly Meetings are traditionally held the Second Monday of the First Month of each Quarter, unless otherwise indicated. The inaugural meeting of the Tennessee Task Force to End Childhood Hunger, created by Public Chapter 397 will take place virtually on Monday, July 14. The purpose of the task force is to develop a strategic action plan to eliminate childhood hunger in Tennessee by increasing access to quality nutrition, streamlining state agency coordination, and strengthening public-private partnerships.
