A free workshop to help job seekers with disabilities and other workers in Hickman County jumpstart their career.

The Board of Trustees for the Tennessee Promise Scholarship Trust Fund will convene on Sep. 7, 2022, at 10 a.m. (CT) in the Executive Conference Room of the Tennessee State Capitol.

Created by the 2021 Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Opportunity Act (TOA), the Families First Community Advisory Board brings together a combination of representatives from state agencies, local government, private and nonprofit organizations, business and industry, faith-based organizations, regional Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partners, and current or former Families first/TANF customers.
